We are seeking an Associate Manager to join our Genetics Medicine – Program Management team, supporting cross-functional biology and technology teams focused on advancing our genetic medicines portfolio. In this role, you will provide operational guidance and drive key deliverables across project, program, and portfolio activities while collaborating with scientific and technical stakeholders throughout the organization.

When & where: Location: Tarrytown, NY Work model: On-site Discover your role: Independently execute and track projects and tasks, championing resolution of critical gaps, risks, and issues across assigned programs. Lead and update tracking tools and program content to promote collaborative scientific information exchange.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project and program communications, ensuring accurate and timely updates across functional areas. Distill complex information for varied audiences, tailoring communication style and content to the stakeholder. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute research plans, identify knowledge gaps, and address challenges.
Build and lead cross-functional teams, driving program deliverables and contributing to decision-making in a matrix organization. Identify the key data and information needed to guide decisions and next steps through the discovery and drug development process. Provide scientific and technical guidance and mentorship to project teams and fellow team members.
This role requires: BS/MS degree in a related field and typically 7+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD in a related field with relevant experience (up to 5 years). Working knowledge of project management techniques and concepts as applied to drug development/the pharmaceutical industry. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to support research operations. Communicate with tact and diplomacy, building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Proactively identify potential issues and implement mitigation strategies to solve problems before they escalate Working independently with limited guidance while receiving general oversight from a supervisor Thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment focused on advancing genetic medicines.
