The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. We are looking for a motivated and digitally driven professional to join our team as an Digitalization Specialist.
In this role, you will contribute to the improvement and digitalization of operational processes, combining digital solutions to enhance efficiency and performance in a manufacturing environment. This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will Do: Drive the digitalization of operational workflows and support process improvements Translate operational needs into practical digital solutions Support the implementation and adoption of digital tools in production Improve data transparency, and support reporting and performance tracking Collaborate with Operations, IT, and cross-functional teams What we are looking for: Degree or equivalent experience in digital media specialist (Mediamatiker-in), engineering, life sciences, IT, or a related field Initial experience in digitalization and/or process improvement Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a strong advantage Strong digital affinity and interest in process digitalization Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma or willingness to develop these skills e.g. via Green Belt project Structured, analytical mindset and hands-on approach Strong team player with good communication skills About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
