JOB DESCRIPTION: Customer Service Specialist, Supply Chain Location: Breda, Netherlands | Full-time, 40 hours weekly | Office based (4 days in office, 1 day from home) Are you a data-driven supply chain professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and working across global teams? We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist, Supply Chain to join our growing Global Supply Chain team in Breda.
In this role, you will support our fast-growing ADC (Abbott Diabetes Care) division, helping ensure product availability across the EMEA region by balancing supply and demand, analyzing risks, resolving issues, and driving operational improvements across a complex global supply network. You will join a collaborative and highly visible team supporting a rapidly growing business, where your insights and initiative will directly contribute to delivering products to customers worldwide. What You'll Do As a Customer Service Specialist, you will help manage supply flow across a complex global network, ensuring customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives are met.
Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring supply and demand to ensure optimal product availability Identifying and mitigating risks related to inventory, backorders, and order fulfillment Analyzing supply chain data and using insights to support decision-making Managing and maintaining accurate order and inventory information within ERP systems Collaborating with manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and regional stakeholders across EMEA Supporting product launches, labeling updates, and regulatory-driven supply chain activities Developing reports and communicating key supply chain updates to stakeholders Leading and supporting projects aimed at improving processes, efficiency, and customer service levels Investigating operational issues and implementing effective solutions Ensuring compliance with quality standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset. You bring: A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field Experience in a global supply chain, planning, operations, customer service, or manufacturing environment Exposure to supply chain activities across the EMEA region Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems Experience with Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of information Fluency in English, both written and spoken Who You Are You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work.
