Performing analytical testing using instrumentation including, but not limited to, Cell Culture, pH, Conductivity, Bioreactors, Autoclave; may use analytical methods including, but not limited to, Statistically analyzing large data sets and drafting technical reports to support commercial filings; participating in investigations; documenting test results in notebooks and reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- ✓Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- ✓Applies to the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
- ✓Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
- ✓Regular attendance and punctuality
- ✓Conduct routine analytical testing with good dexterity, good laboratory techniques, and high degree of accuracy and precision
- ✓Document test parameters, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely
- ✓Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
- ✓Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation
- ✓Read and understand analytical procedures (compendia and client supplied) and internal SOPs
- ✓Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures
- ✓Participate in conducting investigations when assigned
- ✓Perform laboratory maintenance and housekeeping as assigned
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.
- ✓Ability to perform laboratory tasks requiring manual dexterity and precision.
- ✓Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing.
- ✓Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- ✓Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ✓Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and quality.
Position is full-time, schedule is first-shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-430PM.
Pay range: $22.50 - $25.00
