Location: Waterford Contract type: 23-month Fixed Term 25/5 shift, 3 cycle 8hrs About the job Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Team Lead, you will play an integral role within the Product Supply Unit’s team, ensuring reliable supply of syringe and vial products to our patients globally. The Product Supply APU consists of multiple platforms for the PFS inspection, assembly, labelling, cartoning, of autoinjectors and prefilled syringes and vials. The platforms range from manual processes through to high-speed, high volume automated production lines.

Your job, as Maintenance Planner will be to: Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment across the four Product Supply lines: Lyophilised Vial Semi-Automated Visual Inspection, Pre-Filled Syringe Manual Visual Inspection, Auto-Injector Assembly & Packaging, and Lyophilised Vial Packaging Carry out maintenance troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment faults, minimizing production downtime Execute scheduled maintenance task lists and planned maintenance activities in line with the site maintenance plan Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to support repairs, upgrades, and fault-finding Compliance & Quality Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in full compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements Maintain safety compliance standards at all times when working on or around production equipment Complete accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation to support audit and regulatory readiness Support investigations related to equipment deviations, breakdowns, or non-conformances Operational Support Respond promptly to breakdowns and production line stoppages across the APU to restore equipment availability Support changeovers, line clearances, and equipment set-up between product/format runs Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with site housekeeping and 5S standards Collaborate with Production, Automation, and Quality teams to resolve issues affecting line performance Continuous Improvement Apply problem-solving techniques to identify root causes of recurring equipment issues Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, OEE, and reduce downtime Support the Opex & Smart Factory agenda through participation in improvement projects Provide input on preventive maintenance plans based on hands-on equipment experience Stakeholder Relationship Management Liaise with Engineering & Maintenance, Automation, and Manufacturing Operations teams to coordinate maintenance priorities Support training or knowledge-sharing with production operators on basic equipment care where relevant.
About you Experience in a highly regulated GMP environment. Strong problem solving and communication skills. Strong documentation generation and execution skills.

The salary range for this position is :€41 600,00 - €55 467 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
