A Day in the Life The Electrical Engineering student position supports the R&D Electrical team in designing and developing innovative new products within surgical platforms. The role involves the application of documentation, investigations, technical skills, teamwork, and creative problem-solving to support the delivery of high-quality innovative medical devices intended to improve patient outcomes and the quality of life for millions of people.

In this role, you will be part of an Electrical team that includes experienced Electrical engineers. You will work with your team members and other company functions to support different R&D deliverables. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Be a part of an R&D team responsible for developing surgical platforms.

Working closely with experienced Electrical engineers. Designing, running, and documenting R&D supporting tests according to company standards. Write technical documentation.

Supports engineers in development projects. Design and/or build test jigs and fixtures to support the R&D activities. Documenting engineering data using Or-CAD, Visio, and Excel.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Student for a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in the 1st or 2nd year. Availability for at least two full working days on-site during the semester. Full-time during summer break.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. In-depth experience with Microsoft Office tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio. Self-learner, highly organized, and has strong initiative.

Passionate, hands-on approach. Experience in basic electrical circuit design – a significant advantage.
