Position Summary
As a Staff Accountant II you are responsible for performing a variety of accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities within the Financial Reporting Group. In this role you will assist with the preparation of the monthly executive reporting package, supports the international consolidation process through analysis of intercompany transactions and general ledger accounts, and contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements. You will also assist with schedules and documentation required for external audits, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
You will also participate in special projects and other initiatives as assigned by department leadership.
This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate HQ, 3 days per week. (M, T, W)
What You'll do as a Staff Accountant II
- ✓Analysis of various balance sheet and profit and loss accounts as part of the monthly close process.
- ✓Interact with foreign locations concerning monthly financial statements.
- ✓Conduct intercompany/general account analysis which includes reconciliations and financial statement research.
- ✓Research and analysis to prepare and calculate quarterly accruals.
- ✓Maintain and reconcile various balance sheet accounts monthly.
- ✓Prepare workpapers and input journal entries both monthly and recurring.
- ✓Assist with preparation of monthly internal reporting package, including stock-based compensation and shareholders’ equity, and assist in preparation of footnotes.
- ✓Aid in obtaining documentation requested by internal and external auditors.
- ✓Support proxy reporting and SEC requirements.
- ✓Manage special projects as required.
- ✓Perform all other duties as assigned.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required
- ✓Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related.
- ✓Minimum 2 years experience in accounting.
- ✓Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred
- ✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to communicate with other with other departments and foreign entities.
- ✓Attention to details, time management, and deadline awareness.
- ✓Oracle experience preferred.
- ✓Experience with equity compensation accounting preferred.

Pay range for this opportunity is $65,000.00- $75,000.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
