Your position at Baxter: Offer a range of engineering duties to support process and product development, introduction, and validation of medical devices made at the Haina facility.

This role is essential for ensuring our products achieve top standards and deliver flawless healthcare solutions. What you'll be doing! Operate with minimal oversight to recognize manufacturing issues and address production requests for support.

Apply Project Management principles and fundamentals to all product and process modifications. Carry out and support the implementation of suitable process or product builds, modifications, material choices, and manufacturing methods. Participate in the development of new processes or products from concept/build stages through introduction into manufacturing.

Implement Value Improvement Projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant VIP program. Carry out process or product validations with assistance from Local or Divisional engineering resources. Conduct full process or product validations (FOC/COB) through Local engineering resources while collaborating with different departments (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.).

Coordinate and carry out Local and Divisional engineering project activities with little oversight. Perform process or product deployment activities from Divisional or International locations at the Haina manufacturing sites. Perform standard cost revision, quotation process, as required and process improvement projects.

Support the launch of new products. Work with Product Development Process Requirements to fully develop products for International markets. Perform statistical and analytical analysis on process or product-related conditions.

Use Six-sigma engineering tools. Observe all company and regulatory EHS requirements. Identify hazards and evaluate risks and environmental aspects of areas and processes under responsibility and implement appropriate control measures.

Learn and practice basic ergonomic principles to reduce job-related discomfort and injuries. Ensure that personnel under your supervision are informed and aware of the risks and environmental conditions of the area. Observe confidentiality and data privacy rules.

What you'll bring! Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. Six Sigma Certification or Lean Manufacturing Certification desired.

More than 5 years of experience in a related field required. Outstanding communication skills and dynamic approach. High expertise in problem-solving and project management.
