Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
Your responsibilities include (and not limited to): Develop a strong business focus within the NMD team for RFA, influence peers and ensure RFA is central to each territory. Manage RFA priorities and set expectations for the team. Communicate well and work cohesively with colleagues and peers in the NMD business to ensure all divisions are supported where required.
Participate in ANZ NMD LT meetings and provide an RFA update Develop a strong teamwork environment and create a culture of high performance for the team Interstate, rural and regional international travel may be required to fulfil your duties. In conjunction with senior management, sales managers and field staff negotiate major deals and oversee tenders with customers and other stakeholders. Roll out marketing strategies as directed Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and customers to develop sales and business strategies in line with company strategies.
Manage change within your own role and for staff Maintain and develop the corporate image / ethical reputation Manage conflict within the organisation Maintain ongoing communication with staff and management Manage the administrative requirements including case coverage, staff leave and travel requests. Manage stock control requirements. Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required Ensure maintenance of company property/assets.
Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the industry (MTAA) the Abbott Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements Handle and document customer complaints according to Abbott ANZ Field Event Reporting Standard Operating Procedure. Knowledge of and commitment to the requirements of the Quality Management System. Knowledge of and commitment to Work, Health & Safety responsibilities.
Action any other customer complaints with relevant SJM ANZ Business Unit. Execute the position and Business Unit responsibilities according to applicable SJM ANZ Standard Operating Procedures Perform other related functions and responsibilities as directed by Manager Who we’re looking for: Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related field essential. Additional tertiary qualifications in business management is advantageous.
Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss this with customers, as well as internal and external experts. Being product certified in Neuromodulation products is highly desirable. Selling skills that include managing customer relationships, discovery of customer needs/requirements, follow up of sales leads, demonstrating the products, able to develop solutions and resolve problems, negotiating and closing the deal.
