The Opportunity As the Business Intelligence Manager APAC , you will lead and drive business intelligence strategy across the APAC region through predictive analytics, advanced modelling, reporting automation, dashboard development, and cross-functional business support. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver data-driven insights, support strategic decision-making, and influence organizational performance. What You’ll Do Lead proactive predictive analytics modelling and advanced Excel modelling.

Provide proactive business support services across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, and Marketing. Design, create, and implement new intelligence tools and business intelligence solutions. Define and guide APAC business intelligence direction and strategy.

Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Power BI, SFDC, Smartsheet, and related technologies. Apply statistical models used in forecasting and predictive analytics, including multivariate time series, regression models, clustering, and simulations. Build and maintain robust financial models and support revenue analysis and forecasting activities.

Develop and support data strategy, database design, database administration, and software development lifecycle activities. Create and maintain documentation including code, data dictionaries, test scripts, and results. Manage test and production environments and maintain version control standards for code, databases, and dashboards.

Deliver effective data visualizations and dashboard layouts that enhance user understanding and decision-making. Support APAC Financial Controller on Finance, Supply Chain, and ad hoc projects. Support Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams through reporting, modelling, dashboard development, and field inventory management.

Support Regional and Global Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams with reporting, analytics, and inventory management solutions. Build structured reporting and dashboard capabilities for regional planning functions. Influence and partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain Management, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Global teams.

Support Area DVP and regional leadership on high-priority projects. Design pricing governance systems, sales reporting frameworks, and demand planning systems. Support marketing initiatives, new product launches, and business development activities.

Participate in SAP implementation and system enhancement projects. Ensure compliance with Abbott financial policies, procedures, and controls. Lead market modelling and alignment of market intelligence information.

Conduct stakeholder discussions and work with industry sources as required. Drive consistency in analytics relating to market size, revenue, and growth across the APJ region. Evaluate new business opportunities, products, and spending initiatives through financial scenario modelling.

Support FP&A and Finance activities that require strong analytical and modelling expertise. Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Healthcare, Marketing, Education, or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.

Black Belt in Lean Sigma preferred. Strong proficiency in Power Automate, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, Python, R, SQL, HTML5, Visio, Visual Studio, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Strong user, administrator, and developer knowledge of Power BI, SFDC, and Smartsheet.

Strong programming skills and understanding of IT architecture. Deep understanding of data strategy, database design, database administration, and software development lifecycle. Strong statistical modelling expertise including forecasting, predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI-related methodologies.

Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability. High proficiency in Hyperion Essbase, SAP, and Power BI. Knowledge and experience working with SAP systems.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills; other Asian languages are an advantage. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and align teams with company strategy. Experience managing complexity across large geographic regions.

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business strategy. Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional change at all organizational levels. Advanced presentation and storytelling skills.

High ability to multitask and manage parallel assignments across functions, divisions, and countries. Self-starter mindset with a strong commitment to continuous learning and innovation. Fast, responsive communicator with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
