Enterprise IT and Quality Bagsværd, Denmark Shape an in-house engineering capability that keeps global People & Organisation services stable, secure and ready to scale. You will own live applications end to end – from first line of code to production support – and help define how we build across SAP Business Technology Platform. Your new role You will work across a portfolio of more than 25 SAP Business Technology Platform applications that extend SAP SuccessFactors and connect to the wider SAP P&O landscape.
The role spans technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement. Working closely with product owners, P&O subject matter experts, architects, system managers, and platform teams, you will turn business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable solutions that create value for our users and stakeholders. Day-to-day you will: Design, develop, test and deploy full-stack BTP applications and extensions using approved engineering patterns, building intuitive user interfaces, backend services and APIs with maintainable code and clear error handling Develop and troubleshoot integrations between BTP, SuccessFactors, and other P&O platforms, working with HR master data, effective-dated records, role-based permissions, APIs and downstream dependencies Support assigned applications across incidents, problems, changes and releases – diagnosing issues end to end using logs, monitoring and debugging across application, integration, identity and backend layers Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and Git, including automated tests, code review, traceable release controls and secure coding practices aligned with Novo Nordisk standards Reduce technical debt, plan upgrades, respond to SAP platform changes and identify opportunities to reuse, consolidate or decommission applications and services Partner with product owners, P&O experts, architects, SuccessFactors teams, system managers, platform teams and vendors – contributing reusable patterns, standards and technical documentation Enable less experienced developers, share knowledge and uphold agreed engineering quality across the team Your new department In Enterprise IT & Quality, you will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain.

We support the global People & Organisation area with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR and payroll solutions, integrations and a portfolio of more than 25 BTP applications across core employee processes spanning from employee central, access management, recruitment, learning, talent, workflows and external workforce management. Product ownership, architecture, engineering and system management are closely connected, and the landscape is evolving through the SAP HR Repurpose programme – making sound Employee Central, master-data and integration decisions increasingly important. Your skills & qualifications We are looking for a full-stack developer who combines hands-on engineering depth with ownership for stable operations.
Deep BTP full-stack engineering is the non-negotiable foundation; Employee Central knowledge is a major differentiator. You will bring: Typically 5+ years of relevant software development experience, including several years of hands-on SAP BTP full-stack delivery using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (Node.js and/or Java), MTA builds, NPM and SAP BTP Cloud Foundry Experience with SAPUI5/Fiori or a comparable modern web framework, OData/REST APIs and SQL or cloud data services Strong CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Git, automated testing and code-review practices Experience with identity, authorisation, integration and complex production troubleshooting in an enterprise landscape Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, together with strong written and spoken English It would be a strong advantage if you also bring: Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including its core data model, effective dating, MDF, role-based permissions, business rules, workflows and OData APIs Experience with SAP Integration Suite/Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, SAP Build Work Zone or SAP Build Process Automation Understanding of SAP HR or SAP S/4HANA HR, payroll and time, master data management or HR data migration Experience from a regulated or control-intensive environment, including ServiceNow, ITIL, security, privacy, risk and audit documentation Working at Novo Nordisk Digital P&O services influence how colleagues join, move, develop and are supported across Novo Nordisk. Salary: For this role, the Annual B ase S alary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience. Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
