Job Title Sr Manager Global Supplier Quality Location(s) Johor Job Description Role Summary The Sr Manager Global Supplier Quality owns the global Supplier Quality strategy, governance model, and program for the business across all manufacturing sites and service and sales sites..

This role builds and leads the Center of Excellence (CoE), sets policy and standards for supplier qualification, performance management, and audits, and ensures the organization maintains a compliant, low-risk, high-performing supply base in line with ISO 9001 requirements. The Leader is the primary escalation point for critical supplier issues and represents Supplier Quality to leadership and Procurement. Key Responsibilities Define and continuously evolve the global Supplier Quality strategy, policies, and risk-tiering framework across all manufacturing sites.

Build, lead, and develop the Center of Excellence team, ensuring consistent application of supplier quality standards across sites. Own the governance cadence: monthly cross-site reviews, quarterly supplier business reviews (QBRs), and annual audit plan/risk re-tiering. Serve as escalation owner for critical supplier quality issues, including supply disruptions, major nonconformances, and regulatory findings tied to suppliers.

Partner with Procurement/Sourcing leadership to integrate quality criteria into sourcing decisions and joint supplier scorecards. Develop, enhance and own the global supplier quality process, and resourcing model across CoE and sites. Report supplier quality performance, risks, and trends to leadership and during management review / audits.

Calibrate and align Site SQEs to ensure consistent execution of the supplier quality program across all manufacturing locations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field; advanced degree a plus. 10+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering within a complex manufacturing environment in electronics and / or lab equipment.

5+ years in a people-leadership role, including leading geographically distributed or matrixed teams. Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 is a plus) and supplier-related requirements. Experience designing or running supplier risk-tiering, qualification, and audit programs at scale (multiple manufacturing sites and/or large supplier bases).

Strong track record of cross-functional leadership with Procurement, R&D, NPI, and Operations. Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to leadership and during inspections/audits. Preferred Qualifications ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP).

Experience standing up or scaling a Center-of-Excellence / shared-services quality model. Experience with supplier quality management software and digital scorecard/dashboard tools. Key Performance Indicators Global supplier defect rate (PPM), trended across sites.

On-time completion of risk-based supplier audit plan. SCAR/CAPA closure cycle time and recurrence rate. Supplier-related findings during regulatory/Notified Body inspections.

Consistency of program execution across sites (audit calibration scores, scorecard adoption).
