JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Support Specialist serves as a key subject matter expert responsible for supporting, governing, and continuously improving Fluke's commercial systems and Quote-to-Cash processes. This role partners closely with Order Management, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Product Management to ensure system effectiveness, data integrity, operational excellence, and compliance with business policies.
The Specialist leverages deep knowledge of commercial operations, pricing, customer master data, ERP systems, and business processes to solve complex operational and system challenges, drive sustainable process improvements, and support critical business objectives. The role works independently with minimal guidance and serves as a trusted resource to stakeholders and functional partners across the organization.
Acts as a recognized resource within Commercial Operations for business systems, data governance, and Quote-to-Cash processes, utilizing expertise and best practices to improve operational performance and business outcomes. Success in this role requires a combination of customer focus, continuous improvement, analytical rigor, and collaborative partnership to deliver solutions that help teams operate more effectively and create value for Fluke customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Systems & Process Ownership
- ✓Serve as a subject matter expert for commercial systems and Quote-to-Cash processes.
- ✓Support and optimize processes spanning pricing, customer master data, order management, ERP, CRM, PLM, EDI, and eCommerce platforms.
- ✓Evaluate business requirements and recommend process and system enhancements.
- ✓Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and improve stakeholder experience while balancing operational efficiency, governance requirements, and customer needs
Problem Solving & Operational Excellence
- ✓Lead investigation and resolution of complex system and process issues.
- ✓Utilize PDCA, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis to implement sustainable corrective actions.
- ✓Analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- ✓Approach business challenges with curiosity and data-driven analysis, seeking sustainable solutions rather than short-term fixes.
Data Governance & System Administration
- ✓Act as steward for commercial master data governance.
- ✓Administer pricing structures and commercial configurations.
- ✓Support EDI onboarding, testing, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Continuous Improvement & FBS
- ✓Apply FBS principles including PDCA, Daily Management, Root Cause Problem Solving, Standard Work, and Kaizen.
- ✓Lead or facilitate Kaizen events focused on commercial process improvement.
- ✓Develop standard work and performance metrics to sustain improvements.
- ✓Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices and helping teams adopt more effective ways of working.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
- ✓Build trusting relationships across functions through transparency, accountability, knowledge sharing, and mutual respect.
- ✓Empower business users through coaching, training, and guidance that enables greater self-sufficiency and stronger business outcome
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- ✓5+ years supporting commercial systems, ERP, customer master data, pricing, or Quote-to-Cash processes.
- ✓Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement skills.
- ✓Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and influence without authority.
- ✓Growth mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- ✓Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
- ✓Experience executing, validating, and auditing data maintenance activities, data loads, and system configuration updates.
- ✓Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
- ✓Experience documenting business processes, standard work, and operational procedures.
- ✓Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI preferred.
- ✓Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and business process controls preferred.
- ✓Working knowledge of Fortive Business System (FBS), Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
