About the role

Boston Scientific was recognized as a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2026, ranking No. 15 on the Top 100 list, reflecting the culture our employees experience every day.

The Interventional Solutions Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic growth leader responsible for driving enterprise-level account penetration, expanding customer adoption and increasing Boston Scientific market share within a defined group of high-priority accounts.

Managing approximately eight to 12 strategically selected accounts, the BDM focuses on high-impact opportunities based on defined criteria, including revenue thresholds, PCI volume, RFP exposure and significant expansion potential. The BDM develops and executes comprehensive, 360-degree account strategies that engage executive, clinical and economic stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

This role complements territory-based positions by focusing on strategic account leadership, enterprise alignment and coordinated, cross-functional strategy execution rather than broad transactional coverage.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies for eight to 12 prioritized accounts.
  • Lead 360-degree account planning to accelerate growth, strengthen competitive positioning and advance enterprise objectives.
  • Identify, prioritize and capture high-value expansion opportunities within designated accounts.
  • Drive strategic alignment with regional and area leadership on account viability, performance and opportunity planning.
  • Increase portfolio penetration across the Interventional Solutions platform.
  • Grow imaging share, DES volume and calcium therapy performance.
  • Expand product adoption and optimize product mix within targeted accounts.
  • Support strategic RFP defense and capture efforts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive, clinical and economic decision-makers.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with RS, VT, IS, AVP, CESR and other key stakeholders.
  • Integrate enterprise messaging, including HEMA updates and pipeline strategy, into account-level planning.
  • Provide structured quarterly updates and summaries in advance of 360 reviews and major business presentations.
  • Deliver consistent, data-driven reporting on account progress and performance.
  • Track and communicate measurable outcomes tied to strategic account objectives.
  • Ensure clear alignment among account strategy, execution and financial impact.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and performance data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience leading strategic account planning or enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Track record of successfully navigating RFP processes and competitive conversions.
  • Familiarity with the Interventional Solutions portfolio, imaging platforms, DES and calcium therapies.
