Join us and be part of a team that strives for outstanding outcomes and world-class solutions. What you'll be doing! Develop and improve plastic processes to meet quality standards and at the lowest possible cost.
Support transferred projects from other facilities to be implemented in the plastic area. Support to corporate plastic projects as needed. Support in detailed analysis of the process and data to establish situations and root causes.
Elaborate, review and keep updated operational procedures and manufacturing sequences of plastic parts align with internal and external regulations. Purchases and develops equipment, machine, tools, and fixtures needed for the injection molding and extrusion processes. Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain plastic equipment and identify quality issues.
Support the “Process Production Data Collection” system and suggest actions towards process improvements. Perform and assist in the implementation of appropriate process changes. Perform process validations using Local or external engineering resources.
Use Project Management principles and fundamentals to all process’s changes. Provide support to the Quality Improvement Plans to focus on preventive quality. Assist Local and Divisional engineering project activities under supervision.
Implement small scope Value Improvement Projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant MIP program. Support non-conformance investigation and audits items as applicable. Support new members of the plastic team during the onboarding process.
What you'll bring! Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering. Fully computer knowledge (MS package, MS Project).
3 years of experience in Injection Molding. Knowledge of software packages (Intranet, Power Point, Excel, etc). Problem Solving.
Orderly, dynamic and responsible. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to handle ambiguity.
Communication skills. Project Management. Universal molding certification of RJG (preferred).
