We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join our Protein Expression Sciences Department. In this role, you will create antibody production cell lines using state-of-the-art mammalian expression technologies and develop new technologies to further advance our expression platform, while collaborating with cross-functional scientific teams.

When & where: Location: Tarrytown, NY Work model: On-site Discover your role: Apply innovative mammalian expression technologies to generate regulatory-compliant stable cell lines Perform aseptic cell culture, handling, and transfection of cell lines Conduct flow cytometry assays and operate liquid handler platforms (Hamilton) to analyze stable cell lines Perform molecular biology and protein biochemistry techniques, including PCR, RT-PCR, plasmid sub-cloning, isolation of genomic DNA and RNA from CHO cells, SDS-PAGE, and western blotting Independently design, conduct, and analyze multicolor flow cytometry experiments Analyze and present data at smaller team and broader department meetings Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records of experiments and data analysis This role requires: PhD with 0-3 years of postdoctoral experience, or BS/MS with 4-8 years of experience, in Immunology, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology Hands-on technical experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, and antibody staining Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR and cloning Passion for innovation and a desire to lead new scientific directions Working independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without direct supervision Strong desire to develop your skills and work with a cross-functional team and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Experience with gene editing, lentivirus infections, CRISPR library workflows, and NGS is a plus Does this sound like you?
