Position Overview

The Associate Director, Global Commercialization FP&A will play a key role leading and coordinating financial planning and reporting across the Global Commercialization Finance Organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Commercialization FP&A, this role will partner closely with FP&A leads across all regional markets and global functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, coordinate financial planning cycles, and analyze trends across the Commercialization Business.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills to understand and frame evolving market dynamics to support senior leaders with decision making. This role will also play a key role managing long range planning and partner closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, R&D, and Corporate FP&A.

Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.

Primary Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Lead the execution of all Commercialization planning cycles including Budget, Forecasts, and Long-Range Planning (LRP) across markets, global functions and supply chain.
  • Coordinate consolidation of Commercialization financial results and forecast cycles.
  • Develop reporting packages, dashboards, and conduct variance analyses to support Commercialization leadership and Finance reviews.

Cycle and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Own the Commercialization FP&A planning calendar and drive accountability for deliverables, timelines, and data quality.
  • Ensure standardized planning assumptions, requirements and a consistent approach across markets and global functions.
  • Facilitate alignment across Commercialization Finance in partnership with Corporate FP&A throughout planning cycles.

Business Performance & Analytics

  • Develop standardized reporting and performance metrics that provide actionable insights into Commercialization performance.
  • Identify key business trends and proactively highlight risks and opportunities to Commercialization Finance leadership.

Process Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting and planning processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Lead Commercialization FP&A master data governance and reporting standardization across existing and expansion markets.

Strategic Projects

  • Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc special projects as directed by the Senior Director of FP&A and VP of Commercialization Finance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with commercialization experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple markets or global functions.
  • Strong track record of managing forecast cycles, delivering high-quality executive-level presentations, and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence and collaborate effectively across senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Prior experience with SAP and Adaptive Insights is preferred.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$151,360.00---$227,040.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
