Professional Scientific Services (PSS) is our award winning service model where we provide and manage scientific services directly within our clients’ facilities, mainly within the pharmaceutical sector. It is a global service offering and we have been managing services through this model since 2002.
In this position, you will be part of the Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Microbiology teams. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- ✓Perform routine EM activities in classified manufacturing areas, including air, surface, and personnel monitoring
- ✓Conduct microbiological testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, BacT, and plate reading activities
- ✓Review test results, identify atypical findings, and support investigations as required
- ✓Ensure accurate and timely completion of GMP documentation and laboratory records
- ✓Support equipment readiness, calibration activities, and routine laboratory operations
- ✓Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence
For this interesting position, we are looking for someone with:
- ✓An apprenticeship (EFZ) as a Laboratory Technician in Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology, or a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant scientific discipline
- ✓Ideally two years of professional experience in a GMP environment
- ✓Familiarity with sample collection within controlled environments
- ✓Experience in consumables and laboratory material management
- ✓Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- ✓Fluent in English, German is a plus
This is a full time permanent position with Eurofins PSS, providing services at the client site. After several onboarding trainings, to make sure you have the experience you need, you will be working independently in our team.
