The Associate II, Molding & Tooling Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for assisting in mold tooling and injection molding process development, supporting defect analysis, tooling optimization, and process troubleshooting. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: • 1-2 years of experience in Molding and/or Tooling. Experience in either molding or tooling is acceptable. • Level of English: Good communication skills; able to speak clearly and communicate effectively in both spoken and written English. • Knowledge of MiniTab / Power BI is advantageous • Bachelor's degree is required.

A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or a related field) is preferred; however, candidates with a bachelor's degree in other disciplines with relevant experience are welcome to apply. In this role, a typical day will include: 1. Execute Pin Proofing activities for Optic Pins.

Setup systems to manage the tooling, pins, associated molding equipment performance, and replacement frequency. 2. Perform investigations related to Molding process and implement various CAPAs related to molding area.

3. Maintain molding area in clean & orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. 4.

Support engineering projects (improvement/transfer/equipment) and validation of molding area to ensure timely completion within schedule, cost and in compliance of all standards. 5. Provide process improvement & re-engineering for product yield & quality improvement.

6. Carry out engineering studies, perform statistical analysis as needed, to maintain an efficient production process and system, to support product yield improvement and product quality improvement. 7.

Support process characterization studies, process/equipment qualification and IOQs, PQs/Stability. 7. Provide and/or review technical specifications and SOPs necessary for production processes.

8. Carry out change request and evaluate effects of changes to validated processes. 9.

Support/work very closely with material science, packaging engineering, automation & controls engineering, metrology/calibration and validation engineering. 10. To perform any other duty that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time 11.

Observe & Ensure full compliance with Alcon Information Security Policy, Cooperate citizenship policy & code of conduct. 12. Adhere to Alcon Safety & Environment Standards, Report to superior immediately if observe any near miss or any injury/ incident occurred at workplace.
