Job Description Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of innovative, data-driven monitoring strategies across global clinical development programmes. Drive the adoption of adaptive monitoring approaches aligned with risk-based quality management principles. Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance trial oversight, quality and operational effectiveness.

Shape and improve monitoring processes, tools, standards and governance frameworks. Lead change and transformation initiatives that advance monitoring excellence across the organisation. Champion innovation through analytics, technology enablement and continuous improvement programmes.

Monitor performance metrics and compliance outcomes, driving sustainable enhancements and best practices. Essential Requirements Degree in life sciences, business, operations or a related discipline. Strong experience delivering innovative approaches within clinical trials and clinical operations environments.

Deep understanding of clinical trial oversight, monitoring practices and regulatory expectations. Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders globally. Experience using data, analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement and decision-making.

Excellent communication, collaboration and change leadership skills within matrix organisations. Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: €63,600 to €118,000 The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
