DESCRIPTION As an HR Analyst II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll be a key member of our HR Operations team, providing essential support across the employee lifecycle. You'll handle complex HR transactions, analyze data, and deliver exceptional service to our workforce. This role combines analytical expertise with customer service excellence to support our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Working in our HR shared services environment, you'll resolve complex employee inquiries, manage critical HR processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners. You'll leverage your analytical skills to identify process improvements and maintain high service quality standards through detailed metrics and dashboards. As the most senior member of the team, you will also play an important role in supporting the team's day-to-day operations and effectiveness.
You will organize and lead regular team huddles, provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members, and oversee work volumes within the case queue. You will help prioritize different types of cases based on urgency and business impact, ensuring that critical or time-sensitive matters are identified and addressed promptly. You will also participate in relevant stakeholder and operational meetings, representing the team and communicating key updates, priorities, challenges, and outcomes on its behalf.
This position offers opportunities to take ownership of specific process areas, support and guide team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work with advanced HR technologies while developing broad exposure to HR operations in a life sciences organization. REQUIREMENTS 3–5 years of professional HR experience, preferably within HR Operations, HR Shared Services, benefits administration, employee services, or a related HR environment Previous HR experience in Bulgaria and strong knowledge of the Bulgarian HR environment Advanced Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Professional HR certifications preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Experience with HRIS and case management systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, or similar platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Experience in process improvement and optimization Fluency in English required; additional language skills are valued Ability to work independently while supporting broader team objectives Experience interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures Strong data analysis, reporting, and metrics capabilities Ability to prioritize workloads and make sound decisions based on urgency and business impact Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, feedback, and support to colleagues Confidence in representing a team in cross-functional and stakeholder meetings Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, processes, and new technologies
