Job title: NA Service Manager - Financial Operations Location: Cambridge, MA About the job The North America (NA) Service Manager - Financial Operations for Vaccines is a strategic bridge between Controlling Operations and Finance Business Partners — translating standardized process and data into insight that shapes real business decisions. This person will build strong, trusted partnerships with Therapeutic Area Finance Business Partners and Budget Owners across Promotion, Salesforce, Marketing Management, Distribution, and Medical OPEX, and will be looked to as a decision-maker and influencer in how the business plans, forecasts, and controls it's spend. The role carries real technical depth, but its trajectory is toward shaping strategy: driving consistency and standardization across Vaccines NA Finance leadership, and ensuring every stakeholder has the ability to make decisions from the same aligned, cohesive picture.

Main Responsibilities Be a strategic partner and influencer Serve as the trusted bridge between Controlling Operations and Finance Business Partners, translating process and data into insight that drives cohesive, aligned decisions across the business.

Foster strategic partnerships with business leaders and the Service Delivery Hub team, serving as the voice of the customer (Finance Heads and FBPs) to ensure alignment and transparency of targets. Continuously challenge legacy ways of working and the status quo; identify gaps across BUs, Functions, and the GBU, and shape new ways of working that reflect what's best for the business as a whole. Provide key ad-hoc OPEX support to the Vaccines Head of Finance and FP&A, including cross-SPC NA analyses that inform high-level decision-making.

Support the businesses in delivering strategy and results, using OPEX analysis to drive standardization and automation that free the business to focus on higher-value decisions. Own the operational foundation Design and implement new ways of working with Finance Business Partners and the Transversal OPEX Team to provide cohesive, seamless support to business leaders. Provide end-to-end oversight of Controlling Operations core model processes and service quality for Vaccines NA OPEX.

Own overall OPEX planning, budget, and forecast processes, including P&L roll-up and analytics for OPEX, accounting, and month-end close, in partnership with the Transversal OPEX team. Roll up and challenge budget-vs-actuals and flux analyses, risks and opportunities, and targets; build P&L bridges and metrics for each P&L line under Total OPEX and Headcount. Support all close and landing exercises in partnership with the Transversal OPEX team and FBPs; actively participate in and present at Monthly Expense Reviews.

Execute the budgeted OPEX plan, including tracking actuals, approving projects, and providing direction to business owners. Work hand in hand with your OPEX controllers, ensuring all tasks are delivered accurately, on time, and in adherence to internal controls. Support key finance initiatives, including SHIFT implementation and SMART Spend, and build a center of expertise across OPEX-related financial systems and processes.

Educate client groups on financial policies and processes to ensure full compliance and ensure adherence to all internal control requirements. About You Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or CPA in Finance, or Accounting is desirable Minimum 5 years of diversified financial/accounting experience Pharmaceutical or related industry experience is preferred Experience leading and managing people preferred Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, V-lookups, and macros) Experience with SAP, TM1 and SHIFT preferred.

North America Applicants Only The salary range for this position is: $133.500,00 - $192.833,33 All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
