About the Position

Ratio is seeking Production Technicians I,II and III to join the growing operations team to support the GMP manufacturing facility in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area (West Valley City, Utah). The role involves the routine manufacture of sterile radiopharmaceutical drug products in a regulated, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. This role performs hands-on aseptic formulation, drug product processing, dispensing, labeling, and packaging activities in hot cells and cleanrooms, while maintaining strict compliance with GMP, radiation safety, and company procedures to ensure safe, reliable supply of products for clinical or commercial use.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiochemical synthesis, formulation, dilution, dispensing, and inspection activities.
  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing and testing equipment in support of the manufacturing activities.
  • Prepare and handle radioactive materials in accordance with radiation safety procedures, license requirements, and exposure limits.
  • Support secondary packaging, shield assembly, and preparation of doses for shipment to clinical sites or customers.
  • Follow GMP, GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and data integrity requirements.
  • Participate in quality systems activities, including change controls, CAPAs, deviations, and investigations
  • Adhere to all SOPs, work instructions, and policies related to production, quality, and safety.
  • Perform routine equipment setup, pre-use checks, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment and instruments.
  • Support creation and revision of manufacturing related SOPs and documents.
  • Execute cleaning and sanitization of hot cells, cleanroom areas, and equipment.
  • Support validation, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities by coordinating cross-functionally as needed.
  • Successfully complete and maintain all required training and qualifications for GMP, radiation safety, aseptic technique, and job-specific tasks.
  • Support training and qualification of other production technicians
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures, workflows, and safety practices by providing feedback and suggesting enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with 0-5 years of experience, High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing, laboratory, pharmacy, or healthcare setting; or equivalent technical training.
  • Experience working in GMP cleanroom or aseptic processing environment. Experience in a radiopharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step procedures consistently.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a focus on patient safety and product quality.
  • Ability to work in a team-based, fast-paced, time-critical environment.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions and escalate issues.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Has 20/20 vision or better and has the ability to see color with or without corrective lenses
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive environments where product release is closely linked to schedule and half-life constraints.

The annual base salary for this role is expected to range between $60,000 and $100,000. This range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, work experience, skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
