Job Summary
The Nuclear Pharmacist – UroOncRX is responsible for the accurate preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with sterile compounding standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. This role supports our Uro-OncRx Pharmacy service and will involve working in a physician office and radio-labeling Gallium based radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction. The Nuclear Pharmacist – UroOncRX will follow established workflows and will contribute to the development and refinement of best practices and standard operating procedures needed to perform these services in a physician office.
The role functions as an individual contributor to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient pharmacy operations.
Uro‑OncRx Pharmacy
A physician‑partnered pharmacy embedded in a urology or oncology doctor’s office to support patient care with specialized radiopharmaceutical services.
Key Accountabilities
- ✓Exemplifies compliance with all regulations, Company Policies, Corporate Standards and Health and Safety rules related to area of responsibility.
- ✓Process and review customer orders from initial receipt through final packaging accurately and consistently.
- ✓Accurately set up and compound radiopharmaceuticals.
- ✓Manages the shift per which they are assigned in alignment with the standard policies & procedures.
- ✓Handle, package and deliver radiopharmaceuticals and hazardous materials in compliance with Company Policies, Corporate Standards and Health and Safety rules related to area of responsibility.
- ✓Monitor and maintain appropriate level of drug inventory and other business necessary supplies.
- ✓Perform required tests on equipment (e.g., dose calibrator constancy and survey meter checks) and manually record results.
- ✓Perform quality control tests on prepared products to ensure all quality requirements have been met.
- ✓Process returned medical waste and maintain returned reusable supplies in compliance with all regulations and Company Policies.
- ✓Maintain cleanliness of lab in accordance with the facility housekeeping schedules, which may include but are not limited to: mopping, sweeping, cleaning and tidy workspaces, and removal of waste from facility.
- ✓Perform bio-hazardous waste disposal and prepares paperwork for shipment & tracking.
- ✓Perform radiation wipes and surveys on shipping containers, pharmacy supplies, incoming packages, workspaces and vehicles.
- ✓Actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment by completing required training, providing suggestions for improving the health and safety program and bringing unsafe acts and/or conditions to the attention of management
Education and Experience
- ✓Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- ✓Active pharmacist licensure, or eligibility for licensure, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required to support business and operational needs.
- ✓Authorized user of radioactive materials, as required for the role (ANP or BCNP)
Position Requirements
- ✓Ability to accommodate shift changes based on business needs.
- ✓Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- ✓No three or more driving violations within the past 36 months and no DWI/DUI conviction within the past 36 months.
- ✓Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- ✓Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- ✓Authorized to work in the United States.
- ✓Ability to meet customer‑mandated on‑site requirements, including proof of COVID‑19 vaccination, as applicable.

- ✓Experience handling radioactive materials and preparing or dispensing sterile compounded radiopharmaceuticals
- ✓Experience working in a clean room environment
- ✓Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- ✓Communicates professionally and effectively with coworkers and external customers
