Agentic AI Platform Engineer (all genders)
Your Role
As an Agentic AI Platform Engineer, you contribute hands-on to building and operating a growing enterprise agentic AI platform. Working within an experienced team and with guidance from senior colleagues, you apply established engineering methods to develop, integrate, and maintain platform capabilities — from Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns to CI/CD pipelines and API security. Your work directly supports the reliability and quality of platform services used across the organisation.
Who You Are
- ✓You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience, with 3+ years in backend or platform engineering.
- ✓You have practical experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts — including tools, resources, prompts, and server lifecycle management — and familiarity with Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns such as agent discovery and task delegation.
- ✓You are comfortable working with cloud platforms and agentic AI frameworks (such as LangGraph or comparable technologies) to support the deployment and operation of agent workloads.
- ✓You have working knowledge of API security practices, including OAuth 2.0, SSO, and standard authentication flows, and can apply these within established guidelines.
- ✓You have hands-on experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation, ideally using Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
- ✓You can perform basic performance testing and troubleshooting for APIs and platform services, and are willing to grow your skills in scalability and reliability engineering.
- ✓You are a collaborative team member who communicates clearly, follows established processes, and is comfortable asking for guidance when navigating new or complex challenges.
- ✓Exposure to agent memory or state management, Envoy Proxy, mTLS, or API security hardening is a plus.
