The Senior Specialist, Quality Documentation and Training contributes to the definition, deployment, and maintenance of the document management and training systems and related processes, including the pertaining IT systems and steering of externalized services in the Animal Health organization (GI, GS, global, local) in accordance with regulatory and BI Corporate requirements covering the full life cycle of all Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health products.

The Senior Specialist, Quality Documentation and Training provides expertise, training and support to AH Global functions, all AH sites (Global Supply and Global Innovation), System Owners, Managers and Functional Leaders. Duties & Responsibilities Ensures the processes, development, maintenance and management of document management and training systems are secured. Responsible for management and training of users.

Responsible for management of externalized support. Responsible for monitoring of AH service mailbox, respond to user inquiries, addressing requests sent through MyService Portal. Provides first and second level support to users and escalate issues to 3rd level IT support as needed.

Gives advice on processes regarding system applications and document creation as well as their management, archiving, distribution, controlled issuance and processes. Develops and executes data research/queries and investigations on a regular basis and upon request. Acts as divisional system administrator in the Electronic Documentation Management Systems (e.g.

Vault Quality Docs) and related systems (e.g. DocuSign, Archive factory). Creates work instructions, user requirements or changes around documentation and training as required.

Responsible for the creation and update of presentation materials, employee training, on boarding of new employees. Supports curriculum owners in creation of curricula as required. Participates in local, global and international projects and activities as required.

Processes requests for workflows on documents, training items, training curricula and assists on translation requests. Implements and maintains different lists needed for the support of the documentation and learning management process (administrators, key users etc.) Ensures support and provide presentations at external client audits, internal inspections, authority inspections as needed. Provides proactive information on project topics and communication of issues to the team lead.

Responsible for active collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor degree scientific, technical or business focus required. Minimum three (3) years working experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

Good knowledge of Quality systems and Quality management principles related to documentation and training management. Good communication skills and ability to work in teams. Good technical writing skills.

Ability to communicate efficiently in English (written and spoken). Autonomous, organized and rigorous. Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.

Eligibility Requirements : Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). Must be 18 years of age or older.
