About this role
Sr Coordinator, Metabolic Medical Affairs Be at the heart of how science meets strategy – coordinating the medical affairs activities that help millions of people living with metabolic diseases access better care across the globe. Your new role In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating and driving medical affairs activities within the metabolic therapy area, ensuring seamless execution across markets and close alignment between global strategy and local implementation. Your key responsibilities will include: Provide proactive administrative and operational support to the Metabolic Medical Affairs and Digital & Portfolio Medical Affairs Leadership Teams.
Support departmental planning, prioritisation and execution of key business activities Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure. Coordinate logistics and administration for advisory boards, investigator meetings, congresses and scientific exchange activities. Coordinate the maintenance and development of Medical Affairs SharePoint sites, Viva Engage pages and digital collaboration platforms.
Serve as a key operational point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Your new department As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Within International Operations, the Metabolic Medical Affairs team is responsible for ensuring that scientific evidence underpins every decision that brings our treatments closer to people living with diabetes and obesity. You will join a collaborative team of medical professionals who bridge the gap between clinical science and commercial execution, working across geographies to maximise patient impact.
Your skills & qualifications We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented coordinator who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. To succeed in this role, you'll bring: Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously. Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, invoices and supplier relationships.
Experience organising meetings, workshops, congresses and events involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
