Principal Product Manager - Consumer & Customer Experience Platform

Within the Consumer & Customer Experience Platform (CCEP), we are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap and adoption of AI-powered customer engagement and sales enablement solutions that support customer-facing teams globally. This role combines product leadership, customer experience, data and analytics, and artificial intelligence to create differentiated digital experiences that drive commercial outcomes, customer value and Bayer's digital transformation agenda.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will own product vision and strategy for strategic platform capabilities, working across business, engineering, data and user experience teams to deliver solutions that create measurable business impact. You will tackle complex product challenges while balancing customer needs, business priorities and technology opportunities in a global environment.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and drive product vision, strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management for strategic platform capabilities.
  • Translate customer, user and business needs into scalable digital products that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead product discovery, prioritization and delivery using Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Shape AI-enabled engagement capabilities, including personalization, intelligent recommendations, conversational experiences and next-best-action solutions.
  • Partner closely with engineering, analytics, data science and UX teams to deliver innovative, high-quality products.
  • Drive adoption and measurable business impact of product capabilities across global markets.
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback and key business metrics to continuously improve value delivery.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around a shared product vision.
  • Champion product management best practices and foster a culture of customer-centric innovation.

WHO YOU ARE

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Proven experience defining product strategy, vision and roadmaps for digital products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives through influence across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver technology-enabled products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building, scaling or managing AI-enabled products and digital experiences.
  • Experience supporting commercial, sales, marketing or customer engagement functions.
  • Strong understanding of how data, analytics and AI can be leveraged to improve business outcomes and user experiences.
  • Experience applying Design Thinking and user-centered product development practices.
  • Experience within Consumer Health strongly preferred; FMCG, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries are also highly relevant.
  • Proven ability to translate technology investments into measurable business value.
  • Experience delivering products in large, complex global organizations.

At Bayer, we are committed to transparency, equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and objective reward practices in line with EU and local regulations. The minimum monthly gross compensation for this role is 32 640 PLN, with final pay determined based on objective factors such as experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and internal alignment.

This position is eligible for variable pay components, such as performance‑based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
