Your Role The Senior Quality Technician is primarily responsible for daily laboratory activities. This may include environmental monitoring, sterility testing, BET, processing of samples in the laminar flow hood, data and trend analysis, documentation review and other quality department functions. This is a first-shift Tuesday-Saturday position, with occasional holiday work required.
What You'll Be Doing Environmental monitoring of manufacturing cells. Sterility or BET of final product. Processing of in-process samples or environmental samples Prepare data and trend analysis, numerically and graphically, for monthly and quarterly quality system reports.
Will work in both Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities as needed. What You'll Bring Must have knowledge of basic science, math, healthcare terminology, and computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel; as well as database applications) Good writing and verbal communication skills are required. Good problem solving and teamwork skills required.
Long periods of standing or sitting may be necessary; as well as ability to lift, carry, and reach packages (typically 5-10 pounds) on multiple shelf levels in both ambient and frozen environments. Must not be allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs. Education and/or Experience: High School Degree or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred. 2+ years experience in regulated manufacturing required if High School is highest level of education obtained We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated base salary for this position is $51,200 - $70,400 annually. The estimated salary is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
