As a Sr. Associate Supply Chain Planning supporting the Contact Lens Supply team , you will be responsible for aligning sales forecasts with production capacities, inventory levels, and distribution strategies to optimize business performance for Contact Lenses . Responsible for planning, controlling, and managing finished goods inventory to meet production and customer requirements.
Responsible for analyzing historical data and market trends to predict product or service demand and optimize resource allocation. This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. Associate I, Supply Chain Planning (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for aligning sales forecasts with production capacities, inventory levels, and distribution strategies to enhance business performance. You will independently manage inventory, predict demand, and optimize resources, directly impacting operational efficiency. In this role, a typical day will include: Plan, control, and manage finished goods inventory to meet production and customer requirements while aligning sales forecasts with production capacities, inventory levels, and distribution strategies to enhance business performance Analyze historical data and market trends to predict demand and optimize resource allocation Work independently with minimal supervision, applying advanced knowledge and skills to ensure efficient and effective operations Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring quality control Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements Contribute to overall compliance and continuous improvement of the organization - All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
