Boehringer Ingelheim Denmark is currently looking for a motivated student, who has a strong focus on financial numbers and reporting solutions to join our Controlling team located in Copenhagen from which, we support Nordic countries; Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. In this position, you will get first-hand experience in the use of IT tools in the management accounting and controlling field.

You will be working up to 15 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. Workload typically increases at month‑end due to closing processes; however, we offer flexibility during exam periods. As person you are enthusiastic, curious and have a proactive attitude.

We will make sure to give you the right ‘on the job training’, so you quickly can contribute to the daily work. Agility and having the willingness to learn is highly appreciated in the team. Please note you must be enrolled at a university, studying a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Applicant not fulfilling the requirements will not be considered . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Student Assistant in controlling, you will: Develop and provide reports to ensure transparency on financial data to business partners. Support the controlling team in the monthly closing activities.

Support in analyzing and preparing presentations to the management regarding product and business sales and cost analysis. Utilize Power BI and Excel to meet diverse financial reporting and analysis needs. Contribute to different ad-hoc requirements and projects.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM: You are at the middle or at the end of your Bachelor’s studies or at the start of your Master’s studies in the field of Economics and Business Administration, preferably in Accounting, Finance and/or Controlling. You have experience in Microsoft tools (required). You have a good understanding of basic accounting principles.

You have excellent knowledge in Excel. You have great command of the English language. You are accountable and you actively give and seek feedback to deliver results.

Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g. previous internships or relevant student work is a plus.
