Finance Manager Taxes, Accounting & Treasury (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Head of Group Finance Switzerland, you will support direct and indirect tax matters for four Swiss legal entities while contributing to accounting, financial reporting and treasury activities. You will manage the Swiss tax lifecycle including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, tax accounting and tax audits; support statutory financial reporting under the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER as well as group reporting under IFRS; and participate in treasury activities such as liquidity planning, cash management and financing processes.
You will collaborate closely with international Shared Service Centers, global finance organizations and external advisors to ensure quality, compliance and timeliness across assigned activities; monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on Swiss entities and business activities; and contribute to finance and transformation projects, particularly in digitalization and process optimization.
KEY TASKS
- ✓Support the preparation and review of Swiss corporate income tax declarations and tax accounting for all entities in scope;
- ✓Provide technical support for VAT returns and coordinate foreign VAT registrations and related compliance obligations;
- ✓Interact with Swiss tax authorities, auditors and external advisors, supporting tax and financial audits while enhancing reporting, governance, and compliance processes;
- ✓Contribute to annual statutory financial statements (OR, Swiss GAAP FER), quarterly IFRS closings and monthly group reporting, including analysis of complex transactions;
- ✓Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts, review accounting entries and investigate unusual balances or transactions;
- ✓Support treasury activities including liquidity planning, cash management, intercompany financing and dividend distributions;
- ✓Coordinate with international Shared Service Centers, global finance organizations and external stakeholders to ensure quality, compliance and transparency of outsourced accounting, tax and reporting processes;
- ✓Drive transformation, digitalization and process optimization initiatives, including SAP standardization and application of data analytics and automation;
WHO YOU ARE
- ✓Completed university degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance or Tax (e.g., Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting / Fachausweis);
- ✓Several years of professional experience in finance or tax, ideally within a Swiss company or Swiss subsidiary of an international group;
- ✓Strong knowledge of Swiss VAT law and good knowledge of corporate income tax and tax accounting;
- ✓Experience with statutory reporting under the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR); familiarity with Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS is an advantage;
- ✓Hands-on experience with SAP (knowledge of S/4HANA a plus), very good Excel skills and a high affinity for digital solutions, automation and AI;
- ✓Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage complex finance and tax matters in an international environment;
- ✓Self-dependent, structured and solution-oriented working style with excellent coordination and communication skills;
- ✓German at native level and fluent English in speaking and writing.
