The Enterprise Data Platforms Organization enables the business functions with an integrated and intuitive Enterprise platform services in the field of Databases, Integrations, Data Movement and Analytical Platform services. Role Summary: Owns Lilly's B2B/EDI trading-partner integration platforms and administer — Axway B2Bi and IBM Ecommerce — ensuring reliable, compliant movement of transactional data between Lilly and its external partners, distributors and suppliers.

This role restores and sustains service capability for partner-facing integrations, closing a critical skills gap in EDI standards and B2B protocol support. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support Axway B2Bi and IBM Ecommerce platforms, including partner community configuration, translation maps, and message routing. Onboard new trading partners: configure AS2/OFTP2/SFTP connections, validate EDI envelopes (X12, EDIFACT), and certify test transactions before go-live.

Monitor B2B transaction flows end-to-end; triage and resolve failed or delayed EDI transactions within SLA. Maintain translation/mapping logic for purchase orders, invoices, ASNs, and other standard EDI document types. Partner with upstream application teams (order management, supply chain, finance) to troubleshoot data integration issues across the B2B layer.

Support platform patching, certificate renewals, and DR/failover testing for both platforms. Document partner configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures per Lilly IT standards. Participate in on-call rotation for partner-integration incidents.

Required Qualifications: 5+ years' experience administering or developing on Axway B2Bi (or equivalent B2B integration platform) and IBM Ecommerce. Working knowledge of IBM Ecommerce/Sterling-type B2B/order-integration platforms. Hands-on experience with EDI standards (X12 and/or EDIFACT) and B2B transport protocols (AS2, OFTP2, SFTP).

Experience with trading-partner onboarding and certification processes. Familiarity with XML/flat-file translation and mapping tools. Strong incident troubleshooting skills in a 24×7 production environment.

What Success Looks Like: Partner transaction failures are resolved within SLA, new trading-partner onboarding time is reduced, and B2B/EDI knowledge is no longer a single-person dependency on the team. Key Attributes : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, incident-driven environment.

Team player with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Willingness to work in shifts/on-call rotations as required by business needs. Understanding ITIL processes — Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure during production incidents. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to adjacent Data Movement technologies (IBM MQ, Aspera) for cross-team collaboration. Scripting skills (Shell, Python) for automation of partner onboarding or monitoring tasks.

Experience in a regulated/pharma environment with change-control and audit requirements. Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) IBM Certified Data Movement tools & platforms.
