Drive clarity and speed: Illuminate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early so FLBG teams can deliver predictably and at scale. Protect reputation and revenue: High-quality architecture prevents delivery delays, mitigates compliance exposure, and enables secure digital innovation for our clients and patients. What you’ll do Translate requirements into end-to-end solution designs within Enterprise Security, including system interactions, data flows, and integration points.
Produce and maintain architecture artifacts (diagrams, data flows, interface definitions, technology selections) to guide design decisions and delivery teams. Identify whether initiatives meet ARB entry criteria (e.g., cross-domain impact, regulatory scope, new technology, high-risk design) and prepare required inputs for review. Perform architecture impact assessments for new initiatives, including dependencies across IT, OT, data, and security domains.
Define and validate solution design options (e.g., build vs. buy, pattern selection, integration approaches) and support decision-making with documented trade-offs. Review designs to ensure alignment with approved patterns and reference architectures; flag deviations requiring governance review. Partner with engineering and delivery teams to clarify design intent, resolve design issues, and ensure correct implementation of architecture.
Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring sequencing and integration points are clearly understood and planned. Ensure security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements are embedded in solution designs (e.g., GxP, identity, data protection, connectivity). Support release readiness by validating that architecture-related dependencies, risks, and constraints are addressed prior to deployment.
Document and track architecture risks, exceptions, and technical debt, including mitigation or remediation plans. And other job duties as assigned. Minimum education requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred cybersecurity certifications: SABSA, CISSP. Minimum experience requirements 8+ years of experience in enterprise security–specific architecture or engineering. Experience translating requirements into solution designs and architecture artifacts.
Experience working across multiple teams and domains (e.g., cyber, infrastructure, data). Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (where applicable). Experience in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, ISO 27001) preferred.
Knowledge of Security Frameworks – NIS2 /GDPR (Europe) strongly preferred. What you’ll bring Strong expertise in enterprise security technologies and architecture. Ability to design and document end-to-end solutions and integrations.
Understanding of cross-domain dependencies (IT, OT, security, data). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; crisp articulation of trade-offs and risk. Effective communication and stakeholder coordination in global, cross-functional environments.
How you’ll operate Own architecture input and design quality within the Enterprise Security domain. Support solution architecture and ARB decision-making inputs. Identify dependencies, risks, and complexity across initiatives; escalate when needed.
Interface with Solution Architecture Lead, Enterprise Architecture, and delivery teams; align with enterprise standards while balancing real-world delivery constraints. Global role requiring coordination across time zones; occasional off-hours engagement as needed. Your impact from day one Lift design quality and consistency across FLBG’s security initiatives—reducing rework and cycle time.
Build confidence with clear governance inputs, ready-for-release solutions, and transparent risk management. Enable secure, scalable digital capabilities that help FLBG deliver for clients and patients—safely, quickly, and at global scale.
