About the opportunity Join QIAGEN’s Global Operations organization as a Customer Care Representative and help deliver a responsive, accurate, and professional experience for customers.
In this role, you will manage customer orders from receipt through invoicing, respond to order and billing enquiries, and coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Accounts Receivable. You will use SAP and CRM systems to keep orders moving, communicate timely updates, and contribute to customer satisfaction while meeting established service levels. The position is aligned with QPN level S3 and the Specialist Career path.
Your tasks include You process customer purchase orders received by phone, email, and eCommerce channels, ensuring sales orders are entered accurately in SAP. You prepare customer invoices using applicable product pricing and sales quotations maintained in QIAGEN’s CRM system. You support customers, Sales, and internal teams by phone and email with enquiries about order status, shipping dates, account information, and billing.
You record customer order and logistics complaints accurately and route matters that require additional expertise to the appropriate team. You coordinate with Supply Chain to monitor stock availability and inventory status, and with Sales representatives to provide clear responses to customer enquiries. You review open orders and work with Distribution, Supply Chain, and Accounts Receivable to resolve issues and support order release.
You contribute to team service levels by managing phone and case activity accurately, professionally, and within agreed timelines. Your profile You have a bachelor’s degree in any field. Willing to work on a night shift schedule You bring one to two years of relevant professional experience, including at least one year in customer care, logistics, or supply chain.
You are familiar with standard office applications and have experience with, or an interest in developing skills in, SAP, CRM, or Salesforce. You understand customer order management processes; knowledge of SAP order-to-cash transactions is an advantage. You communicate clearly and professionally in writing and by phone, including when explaining order, shipping, account, or billing information.
You can prioritize recurring activities, recognize issues in your workflow, apply established procedures, and escalate unresolved enquiries appropriately. You work effectively across teams and build respectful, service-focused relationships with customers and internal partners.
