Position Summary
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations and quality-related activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Duties
- ✓The administration of day to day routine and control of the quality, laboratory activities and laboratory programme.
- ✓To report activities if quality or lab procedures are not being adhered to.
- ✓Reporting of non-comformances.
- ✓To set up and performance laboratory & product validation exercises.
- ✓To establish and maintain calibration systems in an orderly manner.
- ✓To ensure laboratory results are carried out and recorded correctly for both routine checks and validation exercises.
- ✓To assist with staff training.
- ✓Maintenance of work instruction, quality records, test results and calibration records.
- ✓To ensure Good Laboratory Practise is maintained all times.

Education Degree
Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science or Chemistry
Required Experience
- ✓Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a quality control, quality assurance, or laboratory environment, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated industry.
- ✓Experience in conducting laboratory testing and quality inspections.
- ✓Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and quality management systems.
