We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be essential in providing assistance to users, solving inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of in-house developed applications. The ideal candidate will be able to monitor and implement necessary administrative changes within the system and serve as a primary point of contact for technical and application-related support.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Respond to and resolve user inquiries, providing timely support for in-house applications.
- ✓Monitor and manage administrative changes within the system to ensure optimal functionality.
- ✓Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the applications.
- ✓Assist in the documentation of support processes, FAQs, and system updates.
- ✓Provide end-user training and guidance on the proper use of applications when needed.
- ✓Identify recurring issues and collaborate with the development team to improve the user experience.
- ✓Assist in user account management and system configuration adjustments.
- ✓Stay up to date with application updates and changes to ensure continuous system improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- ✓Prior experience in a systems support role
- ✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- ✓Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- ✓Capability to learn new software functionality and systems
- ✓Understanding of business process flow and design
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- ✓Associates degree in life sciences, computer science, or another related science or engineering curriculum
- ✓Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Position is Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
