YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- ✓Develop and maintain an automated system to extract key results from registration documents (PDFs and similar formats) into standardized datasets.
- ✓Apply PDF/table parsing and LLM-based extraction techniques to capture textual and numerical data accurately and efficiently.
- ✓Implement validation rules and traceability mechanisms to ensure data quality, consistency, and trustworthiness.
- ✓Map extracted information into a common data model and integrate it into the organization's data warehouse.
- ✓Generate analysis-ready datasets that enable comparison of candidate rankings across internal testing networks and official registration results.
- ✓Support product advancement and late-stage testing decisions by providing reliable performance insights and analytics.
- ✓Design and scale a reusable, crop-agnostic framework that can be expanded from OSR to other crops such as corn and wheat with minimal additional development.
WHO YOU ARE
- ✓Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree, preferably in a relevant field.
- ✓Programming skills in R, Python, and SQL.
- ✓Knowledge and practical experience in using Large Language Models (LLMs) for the automated extraction of numerical and textual information from PDFs and other file formats.
- ✓Strong interest in data automation, data analysis, and applying AI/LLMs to real-world data challenges.
- ✓Analytical and structured approach to work, with strong problem-solving skills.
- ✓Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international environment.
- ✓Excellent German and English language skills.
