The Service Support LPS (Laboratory Product Services) provides essential administrative and operational support to the field service team, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction for Sartorius laboratory products. Introduction Join our Service team as a Service Support and play a key role in ensuring seamless service operations and customer support excellence. Through effective order processing, service coordination, inventory management, and customer communication, you will help deliver efficient service solutions that enable our teams to focus on what matters most: better health for more people.
You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to support service delivery and contribute to continuous process improvements. Grow with us – Your Responsibilities • Handle and process a high volume of quotations within established timelines while maintaining accuracy and completeness • Review customer purchase orders and validate order details before processing to ensure accurate transactions • Process service requests and coordinate field service engineer scheduling, optimizing resource allocation and service coverage • Coordinate delivery arrangements with Logistics and Warehouse teams to support timely shipment of products and spare parts • Perform order follow-ups, generate invoices, and coordinate with Finance teams regarding outstanding payments • Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and dispatching parts required for service interventions • Generate and maintain service reports, work orders, customer records, and service documentation while ensuring data accuracy and completeness • Communicate proactively with customers regarding service status, scheduling updates, issue resolution, and general service enquiries via phone and email • Maintain accurate customer and product service history records within the CRM or service management system • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service processes and customer support initiatives • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Management What will convince us • Academic degree in Business Administration or a related field • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in customer service, order processing, or a related operational support environment • Experience with CRM software, such as SAP, and/or service management systems is highly desirable • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively • Service-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment • Customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service About Sartorius Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
