Job Description At Gilead our pursuit of a healthier world for all people has yielded a cure for hepatitis C, revolutionary improvements in HIV treatment and prevention as well as advancements in therapies for viral and inflammatory diseases and certain cancers. We set and achieve bold ambitions in our fight against the world’s most devastating diseases, united in our commitment to confronting the largest public health challenges of our day and improving the lives of patients for generations to come. This role sits within the HIV Prevention team within Global Strategic Marketing and is responsible for enabling G9 market execution and support across ex-US markets, with a focus on pre-launch planning, launch preparedness, and capability building for LEN Q6M.

The role will communicate and translate integrated global strategy to priority countries, helping ensure local teams are prepared for launch success and supported on environment shaping and execution. Per role scope, this position also incorporates Sunlenca-related market support responsibilities within ex-US enablement and execution activities. Key Responsibilities Lead G9 market enablement and execution support across ex-US markets by translating global strategy into actionable launch and pre-launch plans for local teams.

Support launch preparedness and launch readiness execution for LEN Q6M, including capability building, implementation planning, and pull through of core commercial priorities. Provide input into local environment shaping and market readiness activities to support pre-launch planning and future launch success. Incorporate Sunlenca-related work into ex-US market support responsibilities, ensuring coordination with broader prevention and launch priorities.

Enable best practice sharing across pre-launch and priority markets to strengthen launch capabilities and improve consistency of execution. Support regional business case and market prioritization efforts where relevant, including access-minded go-to-market planning and readiness support. Help connect US strategy and learnings to ex-US market execution and launch capability development.

Cross-Functional Integration Partner with global, regional, and local market teams to ensure the global strategy is well understood and actionable within country planning. Work closely across cross-functional teams to support environment shaping, launch preparedness, and execution priorities in G9 and other ex-US markets. Drive a close agenda between regional and US teams by identifying key touchpoints and building strong business relationships.

Pre-Launch and Capability Development Support cross-functional pre-launch readiness activities, including best practice sharing, implementation support, training, and go-to-market framework pull through. Help enable market capabilities across messaging, positioning, access-focused planning, and launch readiness support for priority ex-US markets. Contribute to measured and prioritized support across ex-US opportunities, including launch readiness lite support where appropriate.

Leadership and Execution Excellence Lead complex regional and market-facing initiatives with clear accountability for results, timelines, and stakeholder alignment. Operate as a proactive strategic partner who brings recommendations forward and supports decision making across senior stakeholders. Model a collaborative, transparent, and team-first approach to enable strong outcomes across markets and functions.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 12+ years of experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in global or regional pharmaceutical commercial strategy, launch planning, or market enablement. Strong understanding of pre-launch planning, launch preparedness, and market execution across multiple geographies.

Ability to translate global strategy into practical country-level action and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Experience working across ex-US markets and supporting launch capability development in priority countries. Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.

What Success Looks Like G9 and priority ex-US markets are clear on strategy and supported with actionable pre-launch and launch plans. LEN Q6M launch capabilities are strengthened through aligned readiness, implementation, and best practice support. Sunlenca work is effectively integrated into broader ex-US market enablement priorities.

Cross-functional stakeholders and local teams are aligned around key deliverables and market readiness decisions. US learnings and global priorities are successfully translated into execution support for ex-US markets. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
