Join Roche, where every voice matters. The Position Who We Are — We are the Bio-Interaction-Analysis team within the R&D department of the Diagnostics Division at Roche Diagnostics GmbH. As a young, dynamic team, our focus is on biosensors and complementary technologies.
We are looking for dedicated support for our R&D projects. Start: From mid-October 2026 (or by arrangement) Duration: Approx. 5.5 months (until end of March 2027) Location: Penzberg (good connections to Munich) What to Expect – Your Tasks Evaluation of Monoclonal Antibodies: You evaluate immunological raw materials as part of kinetic screening for research and development.
Data Collection via SPR: You collect kinetic data using Surface Plasmon Resonance (Biacore). Interaction & Specificity Analysis: You determine antibody-antigen interactions (quantification of Epitope Binning) and perform specificity analyses. Evaluation & Discussion: You independently evaluate your data, interpret the results, and present them to the team.
Who You Are – Your Profile Studies: You are enrolled in a master’s program in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a comparable field (a completed bachelor’s degree is required). Alternative: You are in a gap year between your bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Expertise: You have prior knowledge in immunology (especially antibodies) and protein biochemistry, along with experience using immunological assays (e.g., ELISA).
Interests: You are passionate about real-time biosensors and biophysics. Soft Skills: You are highly motivated, enjoy working independently, and are a true team player. Communication: You have strong communication skills and can confidently present your results in English.
