Our Team, Your Impact

Marketing Consumer Experience is the voice of our patients and caregivers and ensures that we strategically build and grow successful consumer relationships. The Manager Marketing, Consumer Experience is responsible for evaluating market conditions and identifying opportunities within the therapeutic category to develop consumer-facing campaigns aligned with brand strategy and objectives. The Manager works with internal and external partners to execute strategic and operational plans that enhance consumer engagement, increase disease state awareness, and support brand growth.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Implements consumer marketing tactics aligned with brand strategies and supports achievement of brand objectives
  • Helps manage communication channel activities for brand including personal and non-personal promotion (NPP)
  • Plans, develops, measures, and optimizes tactics aligned with predefined strategies and establishes timelines and budgets
  • Works with agency partners to create, develop and implement tactical plans and provides input on strategy and direction of the brand
  • Partners with market research to provide insights for planning, messaging and tactics
  • Manages the promotional approval process of materials
  • Analyzes market data and information and makes informed decisions.
  • Align organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 4 years of pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing or related commercial experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Strong pharmaceutical industry knowledge and therapeutic area business acumen.
  • Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understand market and competition. Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department. Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship.
  • Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI).
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinate projects with multiple internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required.
  • Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 25% domestic travel throughout the US and Canada.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Occasional

  • Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity

  • Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $114,560 – $143,200 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
