Position Description
An Associate Manager, Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure uninterrupted product availability and efficient execution of customer orders. This includes managing demand and supply planning, inventory levels, logistics and warehouse operations, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain compliance, optimize performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. An Associate Manager, Supply Chain will also monitor key operational metrics, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and provide tailored support to meet the evolving needs of the business in market.While the position is based in Beirut, Lebanon, it is dedicated to support and manage supply chain activities across the Turkish market.
Key responsibilities
- ✓Review and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance.
- ✓Lead efforts to ensure continuous product supply, partnering with regulatory, 3PL, and global planning teams to proactively mitigate risks such as supply or transportation delays, customs challenges, and other disruptions
- ✓Collaborate with 3PL to manage daily warehouse operations
- ✓Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance against KPIs
- ✓Manage inventory control and maintain accurate inventory records
- ✓Drive demand forecasting and supply planning processes
- ✓Partner with Quality Assurance and Regulatory functions to ensure adherence to policies and compliance with regulations in Türkiye
- ✓Track team KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, order fulfillment) and provide insights and root cause analysis
- ✓Communicate supply constraints and possible alternatives
- ✓Lead and implement process improvement initiatives across the operations
- ✓Maintain clean data records of all supply chain operations
- ✓Manage and update order-to-cash processes, MIGO transactions, returns and complaints (field and customers)
Fine-tune supply planning processes to align closely with the specific needs of the Türkiye market, with a particular focus on Katalog and tender requirements
- ✓Support ad-hoc requests and inquiries from field team
Collaborate closely with Credit Control and EDI teams to ensure the accurate and seamless electronic exchange of information with customers
- ✓Investigate and reconcile billing or payment discrepancies with customers and vendors
- ✓Support accounting team where needed on additional tasks, duties, or projects as assigned
- ✓Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process streamlining
Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- ✓Proficiency in SAP
Excellent presentation and communication skills
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Self-motivated, proactive with a positive attitude
Previous experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage
Knowledge of the Turkish language is considered an added value
Education
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
Experience
- ✓6+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain
- ✓3+ years running leadership position
