Your Role

  • Responsible for supporting Windows Server, Citrix, VMware, and related infrastructure services globally. Provide Level 2 technical support for incidents, service requests, problems, and changes, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File Services, and Citrix environments. Support VMware virtual infrastructure including VM provisioning, resource optimization, snapshots, storage management, and lifecycle activities.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call support, major incident management, emergency response activities, and scheduled maintenance windows. Demonstrate strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation. Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive operational and administrative tasks.
  • Experience processing API-based web requests using PowerShell and integrating automation with cloud services. Drive operational efficiency through automation, self-service solutions, and process standardization. Recommend innovative approaches to reduce manual effort and improve service reliability.
  • Execute server, application, and infrastructure migrations using standardized and automated methodologies. Assess technical dependencies, risks, prerequisites, and business impacts before migration activities. Support cloud adoption, server modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives. Deliver approved IT improvements and business-driven demand requests within agreed timelines. Lead technical investigations for complex incidents and service disruptions.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues. Own and drive Problem Management activities to reduce repeat incidents and improve service stability. Implement and execute infrastructure changes following the Global Change Management Process. Ensure qualification, testing, validation, implementation, and post-implementation review activities are completed as required.
  • Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools. Proactively identify risks, vulnerabilities, capacity issues, and performance bottlenecks. Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. Ensure operating systems, applications, and infrastructure components are patched and maintained according to company policies.
  • Support security remediation activities, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives. Participate in audit readiness activities and provide evidence for internal and external audits. Ensure adherence to corporate security standards, regulatory requirements, and operational policies. Support privileged access management, server hardening, and security baseline compliance. Maintain accurate configuration item (CI) records in CMDB and ensure infrastructure documentation remains current.
  • Manage server lifecycle activities including commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning. Coordinate and execute maintenance activities to ensure supported systems remain compliant with global standards. Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge articles, and operational runbooks. Ensure process documentation and Wikis are regularly reviewed and updated. Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

Who You Are

  • Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to Windows support engineers.
  • Act as the technical lead during major incidents, infrastructure projects, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Review operational processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Ensure service quality, SLA compliance, and operational excellence across supported environments.
  • Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
  • Track operational KPIs, incident trends, recurring issues, and improvement actions.
  • Drive service reviews, governance meetings, and continual service improvement initiatives.
