This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong molecular biology skills and a passion for scientific innovation.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment focused on the development of novel therapeutic antibodies.This is a full-time onsite position in Bothell, WA and follows aThursday through Mondaywork schedule, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and complex molecular biology techniques including PCR, Restriction Endonuclease Digestion, Gibson Assembly, Ligation cloning, Golden Gate Assembly, bacterial transformations, and plasmid purification.Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results in electronic lab notebooks.Collaborate with team members to support cloning and construct generation for protein expression.Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing molecular workflows to improve efficiency and throughput.Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Maintain lab organization and inventory of reagents and supplies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Research Associate IIrequires bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of industry experience.Senior Research Associaterequires bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or master’s degree with 3+ years of industry experience.2+ years of hands-on lab experience in molecular biology techniques.Experience with cell line engineering plasmids is a plus.Experience using sequencing analysis software (eg. Geneious, Benchling) is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.Work Schedule:This position follows aThursday through Mondayschedule, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Tuesday and Wednesday are regular days off.Compensation and Benefits:The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s level qualifications, experience, and skills.While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise exceeds the requirements of the role.SystImmune is a leading and well-funded biotech company with a bright future.
