Your Responsibilities
- āTransform raw sequence data into meaningful insights through cutting-edge bioinformatic processing and analysis.
- āCraft detailed and insightful reports that delight and inform our customers.
- āEvaluate, test, and implement innovative software solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
- āDevelop and customize bioinformatic tools tailored to unique customer projects and enhance our internal capabilities.
- āProvide expert advice and technical support, becoming a trusted partner to our customers.
- āPlay a key role in planning and executing exciting sequencing projects.
- āEnsure timely delivery of results, maintaining our commitment to excellence.
- āContribute to the development of advanced methods for our internal Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- āDrive the optimization of technological processes to enhance service quality and achieve cost savings.
- āChampion safety and accident prevention, fostering a secure work environment.
- āMaintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to room responsibility regulations.
Your experience
- āKnowledge of methods and algorithms for NGS data analysis, preferably in variant discovery and genotyping applications
- āFormal training in genetics, preferably with experience in breeding applications
- āExperience in working with Python and general shell scripting
- āPreferably experience in working in close cooperation with wet-lab scientists
- āFluent English language skills are a must, German would be beneficial
