Role reports to: 高级包装工程师 Location: Asia Pacific, China, Beijing, Beijing Work Location: Fully Onsite What you will do The Packaging Engineer is responsible for leading the development and qualification of tertiary packaging, supporting new product introductions and cost improvement initiatives, including end-to-end production line qualification, to meet manufacturing and product requirements. This role is accountable for all required packaging standards, documentation, production line trials, and testing in support of product launches. The individual will take a leadership role in tertiary packaging projects while driving continuous improvement and cost reduction of existing packaging solutions.
Packaging Development 包装开发 Support feasibility studies, evaluations, and business cases for tertiary packaging related to New Product Development (NPD), New Product Introduction (NPI), existing packaging improvements, and cost reduction initiatives. undefined Lead the development of tertiary packaging, including trade customization, printed artwork and labeling development, specifications, configurations, palletization, and transportation testing for both internal and external manufacturing. undefined Standard document preparation and management 标准文件起草及管理 Create and maintain tertiary packaging Component (PC) standards and Decoration (DC) standards. undefined Manage all Master Data Management (MDM) activities related to tertiary packaging. undefined Conduct end-to-end production line process and performance qualification for packaging equipment. undefined Develop technical requirement agreements and documentation to ensure production line performance. undefined Define packaging requirements to achieve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets. undefined Interface and cooperate with cross-functional team 跨职能团队沟通及合作 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D-FMEA) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) undefined Conduct end-to-end production line process and performance qualification for packaging machinery. undefined Develop technical requirement agreements and documentation to ensure production line performance. undefined Define and communicate tertiary packaging project scope, assess and communicate risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with high quality and compliance. undefined Explore innovative tertiary packaging concepts and designs that align with sustainability goals and business needs. undefined If you are an individual with a disability, please check our Disability Assistance page for information on how to request an accommodation.
