Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, Sales Operations & Customer Insights leads the strategy, development, and execution of analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions that support commercial growth, operational excellence, and Customer success. You will manage a small team of Business Intelligence professionals responsible for transforming sales, Customer, financial, operational, and marketing data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. As a strategic partner to Sales Operations, Commercial Leadership, Customer Experience, and Executive Leadership, you will deliver performance analytics, Customer business reviews, forecasting tools, and reporting solutions that improve business outcomes.
You will be responsible for establishing governance standards, advancing reporting automation, leveraging AI and emerging technologies, and ensuring the integrity and accessibility of enterprise data assets. Through strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on innovation, you will enable data-driven strategies that improve revenue growth, Customer retention, and organizational performance.
This position is located in Mentor, Ohio with a hybrid work schedule. Preference will be given to qualified candidates currently residing within commuting distance of Mentor.
What You'll Do as a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics
- ✓Support the Business Intelligence strategy, roadmap, and operating model to meet commercial objectives, Customer success, and organizational goals.
- ✓Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and performance improvements.
- ✓Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Service, IT, and Business Systems teams to align analytics, reporting, and technology solutions with business priorities.
- ✓Lead cross-functional initiatives and enterprise projects that require advanced analytics, business intelligence, and operational insights.
- ✓Lead the Business Intelligence function supporting Sales Operations by delivering analytics, reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement solutions that improve sales effectiveness and business results.
- ✓Develop and maintain performance scorecards, forecasts, KPI frameworks, and analytics models that support territory optimization, productivity measurement, resource planning, and revenue growth.
- ✓Partner with Sales Operations leadership to establish operating metrics, business reviews, and decision-support tools that improve commercial execution.
- ✓Lead the development and delivery of Customer Business Reviews (CBRs) and Executive Business Reviews for strategic Customers and business leaders.
- ✓Transform Customer, sales, service, operational, and financial data into compelling executive-level narratives that demonstrate value, performance, and growth opportunities.
- ✓Develop Customer health metrics, scorecards, retention indicators, utilization analyses, and contract performance reporting and provide Customer-facing reporting and insights that support retention, Customer satisfaction, growth initiatives, and strategic account planning.
- ✓Establish reporting standards, KPI definitions, and analytical frameworks that support consistent, data-driven decision making.
- ✓Serve as a subject matter expert on Business Intelligence technologies and reporting platforms, including Tableau, Salesforce, AI-enabled tools, and related analytics technologies.
- ✓Champion reporting automation, digital transformation, and technology innovation to improve efficiency, accessibility, and business value.
- ✓Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Intelligence professionals responsible for transforming business data into actionable insights.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required
- ✓Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required.
- ✓7+ years of professional business experience.
- ✓5+ years of Business Analytics experience.
- ✓2+ years experience leading a small team.
- ✓Experience working with Tableau for data extraction, reporting, dashboard development, and analysis.
- ✓Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- ✓Experience performing complex data analysis, manipulation and automation using Excel’s built-in tools and functions.
- ✓Experience identifying trends, patterns, and actionable business insights from data.
- ✓Proven experience developing and presenting business insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- ✓Customer facing experience in providing reporting tools and solutions.

Pay range for this opportunity is $124,737.50 - $154,087.50. This position is also eligible for bonus and LTI participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
