Role reports to: Senior Director APAC Make Excellence Location: Asia Pacific, Indonesia, Jawa, Jakarta Raya Work Location: Fully Onsite What you will do The Regional MAKE (Manufacturing) Excellence Lead acts as a strategic partner with different Selfcare manufacturing sites in APAC. This position reports to the Senior Director APAC MAKE Excellence and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The primary focuses are driving operational excellence and optimizing end-to-end (E2E) manufacturing and supply chain processes.

These include but not limited to spearhead initiatives that enhance E2E flow efficiency and agility, drive cost improvement, strengthen the site capabilities, and implement digital transformations under Smart Operations. Other than that, this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to conduct franchise network feasibility assessments on any potential NPD/NPI, shape the site master plan and its ecosystem in alignment with long-term business priorities, and build an efficient governance on cross-functional way of working. Additionally, the role fosters cross-site collaboration through best practice sharing which enabled maximizing value creations within the region; and be an ‘anchor biter’ to challenge the status quo of sites’ practices to ensure continuous improvement and embracing outside-in & industrial practices.

Key Responsibilities KOE (Kenvue Operational Excellence) Deployment : Lead the deployment of KOE by identifying improvement opportunities during assessment for the Self Care manufacturing sites in China and Indonesia, plus other sites when requested. Deliver standards trainings, coach and provide technical guidance to build site/employee capabilities, and monitor the progress to ensure sustainable implementations and results. Assess the site KOE maturity follows a standard guide, and ensure improvement in the scoring from year over year.

Network Strategy & Feasibility: Partner with Value Stream Leaders to conduct E2E network projects feasibility studies and manufacturing assessments, focusing on COG, CAPEX, OPEX and lead time. Contribute to drive decisions that enhance profitability, agility, while supporting competitive advantage for manufacturing sites. Selfcare Franchise Projects: Act as the MAKE representative in cross-functional project teams for NPD/NPI/LCM projects transitions.

Lead manufacturing readiness assessments and ensure flawless execution for on-time product launches. Smart Operations and CIP Initiatives: Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. Facilitate idea generation, validate financial savings, and ensure alignment with operational priorities and market needs.

Site Performance Analysis: Conduct performance diagnostic with all sites in APAC on KPI such as reliability (OEE, schedule attainment, product availability miss, capacity utilization), agility (Plant Lead Time, Day Before Next Run), and cost (CIP saving, CAPEX, OPEX); provide actionable recommendations for improvement, track the progress through KPI monitoring and follow-up support. Supply Chain Agility: Work with cross-functional segments (Source, Plan, Deliver) to brainstorm initiatives and ideas improve supply chain agility. Partner with them to ensure seamless execution and drive Center of Practice (COP): Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing sites by proactively leading best practice sharing, facilitating cross-site learning, scaling initiatives and ideas, and tracking progress to ensure impact.

Work with Global team to drive best practice sharing among the selfcare sites in different regions. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or Equivalent More than 10 years of working experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or FMCG desired Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing process, Knowledge of frameworks like Lean and Kaizen , Data analytic skill, Financial analytic skill, Project management skill Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts or digitalization, and AI applications Knowledge on drug product manufacturing such as Mixing, Filling, Liquid dosage, Solid dosage, Blistering, Packaging, as applicable. Knowledge and understanding of the Root Cause Analysis tools such as brainstorming, cause and effect analysis, fishbone diagrams, 5 why's, and others as applicable.

Excellent in interpersonal, influencing, communication, listening, negotiating and problem-solving/decision-making skills are preferred.
