Treasury Operations Officer - VIE Contract Location: Belgium, Bruxelles Target start date: 01/01/2027 iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

About the job As Treasury Operations Officer VIE within our Treasury & Cash Management team, you will primarily support the team on strategic project activities aimed at enhancing operational performance, while also contributing to operational Payment Factory activities.

Main responsibilities: Support the team in the review and optimization of the Payment Factory Rejections & Returns process, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to the design of optimized process. Support the team in the implementation of the new Payment Factory customer service ticketing tool, including testing, stakeholder communication, and user support. Support the team in establishing a robust communication channels on the Payment Factory best practices framework and guidance.
Monitor and execute payment flows to third parties initiated by affiliates (Payment On Behalf Of). Follow up on bank inquiries and coordinate with Banks' Customer Services. Analyze returns and rejects related to Payment on Behalf Of payments and communicate findings to the concerned Affiliates, enabling them to take appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure timely and accurate resolution of tickets raised by internal stakeholders. About you Experience: Previous experience within a Treasury Operations or Finance department would be an asset but is not mandatory. Exposure to project environments (testing, data migration, stakeholder coordination) is a plus.
Soft and technical skills: Strong project mindset: ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced transformation environment. Ability to standardize varying data processes and inputs. Strong capabilities in Excel and Word; SAP knowledge is preferred.
Intellectual agility, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving attitude. Ability to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including banking partners. Attention to detail and rigor, particularly in the context of testing and data migration activities.
Education: Master's Degree in Finance / Economics or similar field. Languages: Fluent English (written & verbal). French will be an asset but not mandatory.
